Mid-Masters 8s MD2 — FC 6XERS run riot as goals flood division

A Saturday of explosive attacking football saw 26 goals scored across four fixtures, with one team in particular leaving their mark on Matchday 2.

Chong Hwa Football Club held off Skopet FC 2–1 in a tightly contested opener, with Han Liang and Li Lei both striking early to give the hosts a commanding lead. Skopet mounted a second-half fightback through Muhammad Fadly, but it proved too little too late.

Northeastern Rovers FC staged a remarkable turnaround against Teh Tarik FC after falling behind to Muhammad Ashraf Khan's 33rd-minute strike. Mohamad Nazree bin Mohamad Baseri took centre stage with a stunning hat-trick, scoring in the 39th, 48th and 50th minutes to seal a 3–1 victory.

The afternoon's standout performance came from FC 6XERS, who dismantled Soccer Kaki 11–1 in a one-sided affair. After an early back-and-forth that saw both sides score in the seventh minute, FC 6XERS took complete control. Irfan Gani and Yazid Harun each contributed two goals in a relentless barrage, with Nasir Yusof, Norfahazly Kamsan, Hamdan Yapah, Hairizam Mohamadan, and Shammir Abdul Muttalib all joining the scoring spree. It was a performance that announced serious intent from the visitors.

XCPG delivered an equally commanding display, demolishing Waris Irsyad Warriors 7–0 without reply. A goal every few minutes kept the scoreboard ticking over, with Zabiq B Kamis netting twice and strikes from Md Jumardan B Md Ali, Irwan B Selamat, Rozainee Abdul Hamed, Abdul Basit Abdul Hamid, and Muhd Khir B Sani completing the rout.

With 26 goals across the day and two teams laying down genuine statements of intent, the division is heating up nicely. FC 6XERS and XCPG have served notice that they are genuine contenders, and Matchday 3 cannot come soon enough.
